Rooibos Chai No. 77 is perhaps our closest iteration to a perfect cup of comfort. It’s a caffeine-free chai with a refreshing blend of cardamom, mint, pepper, clove, and fennel that’s built around the slightly sweet, vanilla-like flavor and aroma of South African rooibos. 

Most traditional chais are built with a black tea base. This provides an earthy, slightly malty baseboard for the spiced, creamy notes of a classic chai latte to truly shine. 

 Rooibos Chai No. 77, on the other hand, uses a slightly different blend of spices that compliments the natural caramelly sweetness and faint, cherry-like tartness of the rooibos base. And, while it is excellent when prepared plain due to its naturally semisweet base, this blend makes for an outright dangerous chai latte. 

Whether you want a chai that bucks the norms of what chai “should” or “shouldn’t be, or you simply want a caffeine-free mug of comfort, Rooibos Chai (#77) is a delicious alternative to classic chai.
