Darjeeling black tea is widely beloved as a staple black tea around the world. Its flavor profile is similar to that of Assam black tea, though it uses a higher-grade tea, resulting in a naturally more robust, fuller flavor profile.

To make Darjeeling No. 4, we use Super Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe (SFTGFOP), which makes use of second-flush, somewhat rare tea to create a rich, floral flavor profile that’s relatively uncommon in black teas.

Darjeeling No. 4 is a semi-sweet, earthy blend with a relatively thin mouthfeel when compared to its oxidized Assam cousin.
