I've been on a puerh kick for a while and decided to stock back up on some oolongs. As soon as I opened this one, my eyes lit up. I brewed some immediately and it doesn't disappoint. Rich mouthful that thins a bit with sequential steepings; amazing creamy, almost malty flavor with a subtle but lingering fruity sweetness; the slightest bitterness with longer steeps but no astringency... What a treat! I'll undoubtedly be back for more.
This is the most complex, satisfying, nourishing and delectable Oolong Tea that I've tasted since I was first introduced to Oolong when I visited Taiwan. It's the best! Worth the price, for sure.
Wasn't sure about this one when I opened the bag and the sweet floral and almost sweet fruity scent hit me. I don't love a too-strong floral, perfume-y tea. But no worries. It's creamy and buttery with a pleasant floral undertone, absolutely delicious with a little bit of plant milk. Can't wait to brew it strong for a proper tea latte! I think I'll run out of this one fast :)
I would give this tea 100 stars if I could. SO good. Brew for 2 1/2 min at a little below boiling say 205 and it’s absolutely perfect. Butter butter butter. And sweet. Definitely a repeat order
Really like this tea, distinctive creamy flavor and scent. Perfect for tea latte. Tried other brands but always come back to Tea Chai Te/Portal
