Short Sands Chai

Short Sands Chai No. 104 is a more mature take on classic chai, blending Lapsang Souchong (#3) black tea with Roasted Yerba Mate (#45) for a slightly smoky, malty base. It’s inspired by core memories at the campfire in a (not-so-secret) spot of the same name on the Oregon Coast.

As with all chais, Short Sands pairs a handful of spices into the perfect mate for lattes, though our Vanilla Bean Rooibos (#8) adds a silky, nutty undertone that’s just perfect. While Short Sands Chai No. 104 is an excellent tea on its own, a touch of brown sugar and cream (or oat milk) transforms it into a smoky, sweet delight akin to s’mores.
